70% of transformation initiatives crash and burn because of one thing: misalignment.
Yet most leaders keep confusing activity with clarity.
If your team is unclear about priorities, that's not on them, it's on you.
A thread on creating clarity and alignment in your team👇
The older I get, the more I realize how many people waste their entire life chasing someone else’s. Don’t. This is your one shot. Don’t drift. Be deliberate. Show up. Go all in. Obsess over what matters to you. It’s your life. Stop chasing theirs.
@SahilBloom With AI it’s never been easier to act. If you don’t know how to act or want to make a lot of progress all of a sudden in a little time you now suddenly have a coach on demand for you. Take advantage of it!
Anxiety hits leaders hard; it often arises when you don’t trust your future self to lead through the unknown
But here’s the truth: you’ve made tough calls before. You’ve figured things out mid-flight. You’ll do it again.
Leadership isn’t about having all the answers now, it’s about trusting you’ll come through when it matters
@drgurner Great advice. It starts with the small steps...reflection instead of mindless scrolling for 10 minutes, talking a walk, calling a friend, reading, etc. Doesn't have to be zero to hero in a day
Fear whispers lies into your ears
That you're not ready...
That you'll fail...
That you don't belong
Stop negotiating with fear, but instead listen to what it's trying to tell you
Fear is a signal, not a blocker. Don't suppress it. But also don't let it control you.
@Rainmaker1973 It goes deeper than this. Studies show that traumatizes shows up in our DnA. But at any point you can at least start to reverse the pain
@blakeaburge Great advice. A little bit of momentum is usually the game changer. Gets you stuck out of overthinking what are usually a lot of simple tasks
