Timelapse as a feature is largely under-developed, here's why:
> set playback speed (even on ios devices)
> no way to sync lighting / react to environment
> local storage limits the duration of a capture
> no way to view video and incremental frames
LeafShot is the solution :)

Plant Talk from @OpenAI looks really cool, but it misses something massive.
Just looking at one instant in time doesn't indicate plant "health"
LeafShot isn't just for creating cool timelapse videos - it's also the best way to provide a "physical MCP" to your models!
Having entered the hardware space as a SWE I have to say... AI still isn't great for hardware.
Sure, it can handle basic layout / routing, but as soon as you encounter delicate signal traces or PD anything things fall apart pretty quick.
Hire human EE's - send gummy bears :)
Camera's are really really good in 2026.
REALLY good.
But they still only support timelapses as a gimmick feature.
We built the opposite - a camera solely engineered to capture timelapses of living things.
Stay tuned ;) ๐ฟ
