If we strengthen the Alberta – Texas energy corridor, we’re not just meeting demand, we’re strengthening North American energy security.

Today’s AB/Fed MOU is a strong signal for Canada’s energy sector.
🚫 No oil&gas emissions cap
✅ 2-year permitting timeline
Now it’s about action. If commitments hold, Canada can regain momentum. Enserva is ready to help drive jobs, investment & growth.

This isn’t good enough. Residents and all Albertans are feeling strangling anxiety, there are photos and videos of the devastation all over social media but you can’t even provide any confirmation on the level of destruction. This is an utter failure of communication.
Due to the ongoing fire conditions and our focus on the response effort, it is impossible to share information about specific locations and the extent of damage at this time.
The only thing net-zero coming out of Ottawa:
Net-zero workable solutions.
Net-zero constructive discussions.
Net-zero consideration for Albertans and Canadians well-being.

Hi @s_guilbeault, your regulations ban natural gas “peaker” plants by 2035 unless they only run 450 hours per year (that’s 18 days) and can only have minimal emissions- who on earth is going to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in efficient natural gas facilities that run for a small number of days annually?
Will the federal government be paying for it? Or do you expect Albertans to fork out the dough themselves for power plants that are not allowed to be used past 2035? Can we come back to reality?

NDP supporters motivated by Rachel Notley’s lies on healthcare just disrupted a media availability with the premier where she was prevented from answering questions by reporters on the state of emergency in Alberta #ableg#abvotes
Rachel Notley constantly trots out this balanced budget promise, but she had her chance and tabled four consecutive deficit budgets. Notley can’t even balance a pretend budget with all her uncosted promises, which is why she won’t release a shadow budget. #ableg#abpoli
The UCP brought in more tax revenue at a lower rate than the NDP did when they raised it and drove away investment. Alberta business owners cannot afford another low blow.
Albertans cannot afford the same mistakes and the 183,000 lost jobs under the NDP.
Rachel Notley is AGAIN promising to jack-up taxes on businesses!
When she did this in 2015, she brought in less and less revenue as investment fled Alberta.
In #Budget2023, business tax revenue is a record $6.4 billion because job-creators want to be here!

It was my privilege to stand up in front of my colleagues, and all Albertans, and present the second balanced budget, Budget 2023: Securing Alberta’s Future. #ableg#Budget2023
Canada has a real problem.
Trudeau’s ideological & anti-energy policies are stifling business investment, job creation, and natural resource development in Alberta, and across Canada.
We can’t let this continue. #AbLeg
So wait... Notley wants to fund health and education spending with tax hikes that have already proven to lead to LESS revenue.
This is what happens when you spend your time in Opposition trolling instead of developing sound policies.

“RMA president Paul McLauchlin said he’s starting to hear the provincial government recognizing rural health-care issues.
“It’s little pieces, but that is a little gesture saying we’re being heard, and I think that’s important to the folks that I represent,” he said.
