During the course, this nurse was forced to work outside the comfort zone by joining/responding on Twitter and creating VoiceThreads. Being so worked up I felt I didn't learn at that moment and it was just considered an assignment.

The largest barrier for this nurse is being unfamiliar with technology. Using technology in the classroom clearly is a nursing trend of the future. Proper education can make social media a means of communication.
