Reminder: As schools build master schedules for next school year, K-12 students need at least 45 mins/day for social studies & science, not double-blocking kids into ELA & Math interventions by cutting Tier 1 core content instruction. More time in ELA ≠ improved literacy.

Elem. teachers, there’s a push to get rid of Science/SS & focus on Lit and math all day. SS/Science are the subjects that some kids come to school for. Let’s reverse that and instead of getting rid of the SS/Science block, we integrate literacy and math into those subjects.
