@Techgnostik@FatherMcKennaa Respectfully, I think there is a deeper and richer story to be told here. I'd like to invite you to have a gander at this:

@Techgnostik@FatherMcKennaa Corporations are not tools. They are agents. As agents, they have a goal. The goal of corps is to generate profit. This goal is defined by law. Executives at corps are required to make profit for shareholders.
@jgreenhall@Rocket_Pool Two options for converting:
1) Deposit ETH and mint rETH using RP website
2) Trade ETH for rETH on @Uniswap
The first option should not qualify as a taxable event.
@jgreenhall To passively stake with @Rocket_Pool you convert your ETH into rETH. Staking rewards accrue to the rETH token via the rETH/ETH exchange rate. The exchange rate increases slightly everyday.
@jgreenhall@Rocket_Pool Others are suggesting staking on an exchange. This is problematic because exchanges already have a large share of the staked Ether. They are centralized operators. Options like @Rocket_Pool are decentralized (currently have 1034 node operators accross 84 timezones).
@jgreenhall The best option is to use @Rocket_Pool
RP is a decentralized staking protocol that connects ETH node operators with stakers. You can run your own node through RP or you can deposit your ETH with RP to earn passively without running a node.

@Jasper_ETH@iearnfinance Can you explain how holders of yvCurve-rETHwstETH accrue interest? My understanding of the vault is a little fuzzy. How does the re-invest accrue back to vault depositors?
