@mfcrocker @sistersinead That’s not helpful Matt. The definition/question really does depend on what you’d like to use the data for. Deciding those uses is not a stats problem and there will be trade offs to make.
@matthwilliams@ADAlthousePhD I’m not sure this is a good example for that. The problem there isn’t that they used regression, it’s that they used the wrong kind of regression because they didn’t properly consider the outcome of interest
