We are excited to reveal the new cover of the upcoming 'Passage Planning Guide: English Channel, Dover Strait and Southern North Sea'. Congratulations to Gary Davies from Maritime Photographic won the @ukshipping photo competition held in June.
Very sad news about the death of football and cricket writer David Potter at 74. The Forfar-born bibliophile loved Celtic and wrote extensively about the club. But he was also passionate about cricket, knew so much about the game, and helped me enormously with my Freuchie book!

I have known John for c. 10 years. I think very highly of him. He has shown me, Nora and the dog much kindness, encouragement and generosity. I have a long list!
He has a right to a fair hearing and I don’t think the very public CDC hearing was that.
A squad of 15 will fly out to Desert Springs for some warm weather training tomorrow.
Whilst we are there, we will play a 50 over game against @North_Diamonds, and 50 over and T20 matches against @SEStarsCricket.
#RiseUp🌅🧡
Big thanks to the @scotfire_Edin firefighters from @EDI_Airport for waving at a very excited 3.5yo. They were driving past us in their engine as we were boarding our easyJet flight on Friday afternoon
@gadhiaparag1 What’s ‘clueless’ about the tweet?
I earn an above average wage, and with my daughter and I, there’s no way I can justify a monthly subscription to Sky Sports for a few games of cricket.
The Hundred (whether you like the format or not) has been a big hit on terrestrial TV.
@MajidHaq@BBCScotland@ITV Totally agree. When people ask my what I think of The Hundred, I say if it brings cricket to terrestrial tv, that can only be a good thing.
Are you that person who spots the typo on a menu or in a book? Have a strong attention to detail? Work or aspire to work in publishing? Look no further 👇
This no shock. Just few get to see the greatness of this team after the 10 became 12 and opportunities, funding and exposure for the rest got less and less.
What a night!
Congratulations to Captain Iain and the crew of ASTRA, the good people at @AWShips, the shipyard at Marina Lanzarote and the army of friends and family behind the scenes.
And a big thank you to @iainWPG and @KatWPGroup for sharing the experience with us
Earlier this week we joined family, friends and colleagues to celebrate the homecoming of our CEO Captain Iain Macneil and his crew following their unique ‘World First’ circumnavigation via all of the Capes in the Southern Hemisphere. Here is their story https://t.co/8Ma8gJEMAF
@MajidHaq@anjan_luthra Spot on Majid!

Exciting times ahead!!
Cricket Scotland is delighted to welcome our new Chair Anjan Luthra who will take up the two-year post with immediate effect ➡️ https://t.co/ejidhm6qq6
First match in 4+ yrs for @GrangeCC President’s all sorts v Master’s, good fun, played in great spirit! I’m sure the body will be suffering a bit tomorrow but all good fun! Many thanks to Rawdon for organising and umpiring with Robin, and Coach John
🙌 my biggest fan 👇
@MajidHaq@CricketScotland@Warrior_Cricket I suspect the CSC Board resigned because there’ll not be another one (or one in that format) going forwards. Colin Mitchell, racist?! Not in my experience.
