@WentworthPaul Lots of mistakes, starting with the Sporting Director walking on day one. We are feeling it now. Wasted money, lost valuable PSR headroom in not being prepared for a top player sale. Shows immaturity from new club leaders, must learn and improve
@J_92__ Kraft has been a miss which I never thought I’d say. RW, Keeper and back up striker were the key signings going into the summer then Isak changed everything. Not an excuse for the shambles that occurred but without injuries RB looked healthier than say LB at the time
@_laurennn92 It’s the result of 3 games a week with a squad that isn’t ready for it. Many things contribute to that but we want to be competing on all fronts we are just not ready to do that competitively with this squad.
@Doddsy228904442 Lessons to learn always but he has been hindered by having square pegs for round holes. Not sure who the blame lies with for recruitment but we have seen the game plan works against the best with the right players and the right application
I’m just baffled by the hate on here for Howe. Any fans I actually speak to at the games don’t reflect this view. Might just be the modern era. I’ll back him for years to come #NUFC
@markste76948257@melp195809 That was the media narrative, if true he’s a great manager and terrible scout. I’d hire a competent scout and keep the great manager. Most manager are asked where they want to strengthen then given a list.
Eddie Howe can set up in any formation, he can ask the players to do any tactics however he can not effect injuries, fatigue, miss placed passes, missed one on ones or lack of effort on the day. I love Newcastle and will never boo or hound individuals but Howe isn’t a problem.
@markste76948257@melp195809 I can’t see many managers staying without a sporting director organising deals when we have money to spend and see through windows where we require reinforcements but don’t act. He’s been hands tied several times and came out strong. This is the first prolonged poor spell.
@markste76948257@melp195809 It is, Eddie Howe will go down as a legend for me, being at the cup final last year and winning was something I didn’t think would ever happen. I think when he does eventually go, he will be sorely missed. Grass is not always greener
