🚨 HELP US FIND WHO KILLED ZANELE PRECIOUS NKOSI
Zanele was 41. A daughter. A mother to an 8-year-old girl. An attorney who served her community and chaired the North West Black Lawyers Association.
On 29 March 2023, she left her office in Rustenburg and walked to her Mercedes-Benz. Two men approached her and shot her multiple times in the head and upper body.
She died there. In broad daylight. Outside her workplace.
Her 8-year-old daughter lost her mother. Her 72-year-old mother lost her daughter. A family already grieving another daughter who had died just months earlier was left with another devastating loss.
More than three years later, they are still waiting for answers.
A R150,000 reward was announced in May 2025 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. But the motive remains unknown and no one has been brought to justice.
Someone knows what happened to Zanele.
If you saw something, heard something, know who was involved or have information that could help investigators, please come forward.

Three years is too long.
Zanele must not become another forgotten murder statistic.

Good morning Friends
Electricity price is extremely expensive, they’re planning to increase more for 2027 which means we will receive less units for more money, it is totally unacceptable.
We need to submit our OBJECTIONS to NERSA for this ridiculous request
Please send your objection emails to [email protected]

National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA)
Kulawula House, 526 Madiba Street, Arcadia, Pretoria
REF: Comments on the Consultation Paper on the Eskom Retail Tariff Structural Adjustment (ERTSA) Application for Standard Tariffs for the 2027/28 Financial Year, published 2 September 2026 (closing date for comments: 2 October 2026, 16:00)
Subject: Unconditional objection to any further electricity price increase - nothing less than a reduction is acceptable
Dear Members of the Energy Regulator
1. I write in terms of the public participation process to record my unconditional objection to Eskom's ERTSA application for the 2027/28 financial year, which proposes yet another average increase of approximately 8.8% in the price of electricity. I say this at the outset, clearly and without equivocation: nothing but a reduction in the price of electricity is acceptable. Another increase is not merely undesirable - it is unjustifiable, unaffordable and unconscionable in the current economic climate.
2. Over the past twenty years, the price of electricity in South Africa has risen by more than 900% - cumulative increases that have outpaced inflation by a wide margin and dwarfed wage growth for ordinary workers. Every single year, South Africans are told that this year's increase is the last one, or the minimum possible, or somehow for our own good. Yet the increases never stop. Even the Regulator's most recent determination, approving an average increase of 8.76% for 2026/27, landed on consumers who are already drowning, and Eskom is already back asking for 8.8% more. Each increase compounds the last, and the burden is never lifted - it is only passed on.
3. I therefore call on the Energy Regulator to:
3.1 reject Eskom's application in its entirety, and grant no increase whatsoever;
3.2 direct Eskom to reduce the price of electricity, using its record profits, its efficiency gains and its own cost reductions to deliver that reduction; and
3.3 honour the Regulator's statutory mandate to protect the interests of consumers and the public, rather than the revenue ambitions of a monopoly.
4. Eskom's obligation is to serve the people of South Africa with affordable electricity, not to extract ever more from a population that is already impoverished by the very cost of living that electricity price increases keep inflating. I demand, as a South African citizen and consumer, that this application be refused and that the price of electricity be reduced. Nothing less is acceptable.
