🚨 A Hindu lady was repeatedly requesting the church to lower the volume behind her house.
Despite her requests, the church continued to play the sounds at a high volume.
Hindu DIDI brought loudspeaker and responded by playing 'OM' chants even LOUDER.
The video is said to be from Andhra Pradesh. Video is viral.
@sensprabir@TrueIndology It is said that - Just as modesty (lajjā) adorns a noble person, grammar (vyākaraṇa) adds grace and decorum (śobha/maryādā) to language.
Linguistic devolution shouldn't be condoned or defended regardless of whomever it may hurt.
@nilaymallikk At some extent Same with Punjab. Both of them think language identity somehow can overshadow religious identity and unify them only to discover timely that it's not the case.
@IamKishorBhat@Pragmatic_Prsn @punyakoTEA What's the difference between Kannada culture (or any other state's culture for that matter) and vedic culture? Other than local variations they all remain the same.
Ppl like you are part of the problem with this "us vs them" sort of nonsensical division. Absolutely disgraceful😐
Sayema says Urdu is mix of Persian, Arabic and Turkish. These languages only give 1% of Urdu words. She forgets Sanskrit and Prakrit, which give 99% of Urdu words.
I challenge @_sayema to write a single sentence in Urdu without using the below words, which are all from Sanskrit/Prakrit:
मैं आप तू का की यह वह हम तुम कहाँ यहाँ जहाँ वहाँ तेरा मेरा तुम्हारा हमारा वो तो अब कब जब तब वह यह है तो तू इस उस किस जिस और के को ने से ही में पर हां ना हम भी कभी तभी यही वही यहीं वहीं कहीं किन उन जिन कौन क्या कैसे वैसे जैसे ऐसे ऐसा वैसा जैसा ये वो
OTOH, I can write any sentence in Urdu without using a single Persian, Arabic or Turkish word.
