"three races ago, it was very clear to me where i was struggling (brakes). then in barcelona, we changed some specific things on the car, and the feeling definitely improved, and i think the pace was also very strong. in austria, however, it's true that i struggled more on sunday. i put in a lot of effort and figured out a few things, but it's never enough, and i'll continue to push to extract more performance.”
SPEAK ON IT, KING!!!!!!
"i think most drivers are a little sad, both watching the races and testing the track on the simulator. these were circuits where the bravest driver in qualifying could make the difference, because you entered the fast corners with a lot of power and had to play with the limits of the car at very high speeds.
now the high-speed corners almost feel like medium-speed corners due to the severe clipping. i don't know exactly what to expect, i have an idea, but i'm pretty sure it won't provide the same special sensations as in the past.”
Being a Leclerc fan over the last month has made me realise that being a sports fan does create character development. The level of patience I've had to develop with the revisionism of his entire career lowkey exceeds what I've had to have throughout school, uni & work 😭
Charles Leclerc is the only driver I've seem that still gets blamed on here for mechanical DNFs due to 3 out of 4 of his brakes not working how they're supposed to and another due to a hydraulic failure with both issues also being confirmed by his team 😂😂😂
Charles deserves better than to have to worry about dealing with every possible issue with the car, with the strategy, and with the team, while also driving his best. He deserves to have a team he can actually trust to work, instead of being the only one pulling his weight.
charles is one of the best drivers on that grid but his disappointment of a team keeps holding him back. stop with the bullshit about charles being a second driver when his teammate keeps getting away with shit tyre management and mediocre wheel to wheel because of sheer luck
every time he had an issue in the past seasons he managed to turn around the car and get more comfortable so i'm sure he can do it again. he still managed a great quali while being uncomfortable so i truly believe in him❤️
Leclerc and Norris are both having equally difficult seasons, but Norris fans are out here producing a dossier of evidence and Leclerc “fans” are kicking a man while he’s down
Also, I have to heavily disagree with anyone saying it's "self inflicted". You cannot undermine the brake issues he's been having since those first upgrades and this even proved to be quite a severe issue in Monaco. He's essentially been forced to make a massive change...
you all saying Leclercs situation right now is because of him performingly badly instead of looking at the start of the season and maybe seeing the „performance“ in relation to the brake change, the mechanical dnfs etc. - are you being for real 💀
