This is awful news! The club clearly wants to go down the path with a “Head Coach” and not manager. Nigel had his hands tied behind his back from day one, never had money like previous “Head Coaches” to bolster the squad, his remit was to cut the wage bill, sell the best assets and promote from within which he’s been very successful doing. The board and owners need to take stock and evaluate their own decisions as I believe Nigel has been let down. @NigelGPearson I thank you for your efforts for our great club, I’m a believer that you have enhanced our pathway from academy to first team in your tenure.
