@bridgetbaseball @FireFarhan3 It’s going to take time, and I’m okay with that. It’s not a total rebuild which is nice, we have some great players, Chapman, Lee, Adames, Webb, Bailey. And if we get 2 or 3 of the young guys to work, we’re cooking with gas for next year

Outside of starting pitchers and Soto, I think we got the best FA in Adames, but he’s not enough. And blocking Eldridge with Alonso who Ks a lot doesn’t seem right. We did miss out on some good SP

@gggiants Again, I agree with you. But Farhan was awful, and ownership hasn’t opened the wallet to the full extent. Farhan himself claims he was always a bridesmaid. Both are true. I want giants “not beat writers” to be excited for the season and our young guys who seem to be talented.

@gggiants @SFGate Agree. I think what I’m saying is it’s really hard to compete for big time free agents after what Farhan did to this organization. We need to be competitive with young players, get some hope back and build from there. Get FA excited to be here. I’m giving Posey a shot to fix it.

@gggiants @SFGate Defeatist or realist, I’d rather compete for a WC spot, our only real hope with dodgers in our division, than tank. Call me crazy but I find competitive baseball in August fun. We can both agree the dodgers have ruined competitive balance, so our options for fun are limited
