We need to eliminate the income tax. We should also eliminate property taxes on homes. We should cut spending and move to consumption taxes. I can’t force these ideas but I can fight to move us closer to making them reality. https://t.co/B3Q4nPIj0O
Congrats to my friend @leebright on his decisive primary victory for South Carolina State Senate last night! No run-off!
I’ve known Lee for many years. He will once again be the top defender of liberty in the SC legislature. I endorsed Lee and maxed out to his special election.
I am sorry to hear the sad news about Roger Nutt’s medical diagnosis. Roger and I haven’t always agreed politically but I consider him a friend and Amy and I will keep him and his family in our prayers.

Grandstander translation: Not being a bobble head when the emperor has no clothes. Very thankful for the few “grandstanders”!
I woke up this morning to find out @elonmusk is supporting my re-election!
Elon’s purchase of Twitter and cultivation of the X platform for free speech has already helped my cause immensely. It’s allowed me to bypass conventional media to refute the lies of both political parties and to provide transparency about how Congress works and what’s actually inside of the bills we vote on.
Exposing the worst parts of the Big Beautiful Bill and reasserting Congressional War Powers has recently earned me the ire of the swamp and a fight for my re-election, but my re-election isn’t really about either of those issues specifically. It’s a referendum on whether members of Congress can think and act independently based on what’s best for the country, or whether all members of congress must be reduced to rubber stamps for their respective political parties and swampy special interests.
I’m extremely thankful to have Elon Musk’s financial assistance to continue my mission as an independent voice in Congress for my constituents.
SBC pastors need to be vetting their messengers more carefully. You need to ensure that they are people who are there to take care of serious business, not to shop and have lunch and sing songs. The fact that 5000 messengers show up and don’t vote is a blight on the convention.
I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore.
This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.
Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.
I'm hearing from sources that ERLC leaders have been reaching out to lawmakers pleading for someone to put out a statement of support ahead of the annual meeting.
I hope those leaders are well aware of the ERLC’s close partnership with a George-Soros-funded organization to promote open borders. And I hope they are aware of how the ERLC has lied and dissembled about this.
It would be hard to claim to be a tough-on-borders lawmaker while simultaneously giving support to the ERLC.
If only the ERLC were as diligent in representing us as they are in preserving their jobs.
While I love many things in the bill, promising someone else will cut spending in the future does not cut spending. Deficits do matter and this bill grows them now. The only Congress we can control is the one we’re in. Consequently, I cannot support this big deficit plan. NO.
I’d love to stand here and tell the American people “we can cut your taxes and increase spending and everything will be fine.”
But I can’t because I’m here to deliver a dose of reality about the ticking debt bomb known as the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
Here we go again.
Remember back in 2020, when Congressman Thomas Massie heroically stood up against the $2 Trillion Covid spending.
Back then, President Trump called Massie a "third-rate grandstander" and a "disaster for America."
Massie was correct. He was primaried for standing firm and was victorious in the election.
The Covid spending helped to usher in the inflation that we're still dealing with today...not to mention all of the fraud.
Once again, Congressman Massie refuses to support reckless Republican spending and debt; and once again President Trump seeks to primary Massie after comparing him to Liz Cheney (!)
If Congress was composed of hundreds of Thomas Massie's we wouldn't be trying to claw our way out of the abyss right now.
Watch @RonPaul & @ChrisRossini below:
Congress just stood up and applauded DOGE for exposed wasteful and fraudulent programs that Congress itself funded… and plans to fund in the coming CR.
Before there was @DOGE , there was me in 2020 warning y’all that the U.S. Treasury was sending $1200 COVID stimulus checks to foreigners living overseas. These were not dual citizens or green-card holders.
A look behind the curtain has revealed a horrific truth: Nearly the entire mainstream media - worldwide - has been funded by the US government under the USAID.
From the BBC to the New York Times and Politico...
At this point it might be easier to find out who USAID has NOT funded in the media sphere!
