Last try ...
For all who have any interest in the Bible, this a real page-turner. Promise! I’ve been on Twitter/X for 9+ yrs and never done anything like this, but PLEASE consider this book for yourself and Repost—especially Repost!! Thank you! https://t.co/GBj2z9Zgww
I am SO on board with @carolmswain on her comment. I routinely unfollow those whose vocabulary is so limited they cannot emphasize a point without using that word!
Willy Rice just preached one of the most prophetic and prescient sermons ever delivered at an SBC Pastor's Conference, based on Saul's compromise in 1 Samuel 14-15.
Here is a brief clip, with the full version below.
To the extent that the Nicene Creed comports with the Bible, I accept it. But for that reason only. The Nicene Creed does not trump the Bible. Nothing does. Fact is, I accept any creed or assertion that aligns with the Bible - but not one that doesn't. And I am a Christian.
Jon Harris (@jonharris1989) has been in the trenches fighting against the SBC downgrade for years. So when he sees signs of hope, we should all take notice.
"For the first time since I have paid attention to Southern Baptist proceedings, I am anticipating this year’s Annual Meeting with optimism.
There is a good chance that a socially conservative presidential candidate with some guts may be the next president.
If Willy Rice is elected, it means there will start to be committee appointments that reflect the majority of Southern Baptists outside the leadership class, who want to see souls saved but are not interested in racial quotas or MeToo priorities."

I believe @WillyRice has his eyes on the Lord and his hand on the pulse of our Convention.
With convictional clarity, relational connections, and personal kindness, he's a modern-day "son of Issachar" who understands the times and knows what God's people should do.
I'm SO with @pastorteddy on this! Willy is God's man for the SBC and other believers as well. He loves Jesus, cares about souls and just gets things done.
One of the things I appreciate about @WillyRice -- he's committed to spreading the same gospel in New York that he preaches in Florida.
"We win" when the gospel advances to the nations!
From his sermon to ministry leaders in Brooklyn.
This is what the SBC is about. I don’t know if Rice is the man to call us back to it, but we need more of this and less of the hardliner silliness currently going on.
"Imagine if Southern Baptists united behind a goal to make sure everyone in our nation heard the gospel proclaimed within 7 years." (Quote from Willy Rice)
I can do one even better: Imagine if Southern Baptists united behind Willy Rice. Oh. My.
