High-quality content matters, but distribution is still king.

I wrote a reflection on a lesson I keep relearning across different business verticals, and one that feels especially relevant in today's AI ecosystem.

In travel, a hotel room is not just a room. Inside an online travel agency platform, it becomes content. But that content only creates value when it is connected, updated, discoverable, and distributed.

That same pattern shaped why I built the VisitKorea AI MCP Hub for Korea Tourism Organization (@KoreanTravel), an open source project that makes Korea tourism, medical tourism, and wellness tourism data more usable by AI agents.

I was invited to a panel hosted by @HorasisOrg, a global think tank, chaired by Benjamin J. Butler (Founder of the Embassy of the Future). We discussed digital infrastructure, pandemic recovery, and the future of Asia alongside Klaus Neumann (Senior Vice President, @SAP China) and Lieutenant General Sudhir Sharma (Chairman, Mitkat Advisory Services). The panel took place in November 2021, and looking back from today at the end of April 2026.

Back then, we were optimistic about technology solving our problems. Today, we have autonomous AI agents reshaping enterprise software. We also have geopolitical instability testing the resilience of Asia and the Middle East.
