Dipping my toes again into Twitter after a brief start. Social media can have great impact or distort reasoned discussion on critical issues. Or both. Be civil, please.
@JakeSherman Blaming the reporting as totally wrong and pausing to reflect seems a bit contradictory.
There's often a blame the messenger attempt. But this isn't the first time his campaign has altered his schedule because of disturbing allegations.
He's also facing hints of more to come.
@Super70sSports Impossible to pass the tiny "football." No control over the electronic players.
A mosh pit unrelated to any actual sport, with constant annoying buzzing.
Fun for all.
@AvivaKlompas Have whatever beliefs on this you want. I've covered all sides. But this is bizarre.
I've see many proposals in decades of covering Middle East peace.
Don't recall anyone suggesting discrimination by a Brooklyn coffee shop will be the magic ticket to Midwest peace.
@StopAntisemites I remember an America when the critical Holocaust education was something a school Principal would never apologize for teaching.
In recent weeks,we recognized all the brave Americans who gave their lives fighting Hitler's evil Nazis.
@historyinmemes I played against some of the most famed pro legends in both baseball and basketball.
Even after they've left the league, the gap is indeed very wide.
@BBGreatMoments I did a landmark interview with him in The Washington Post.
Not physically imposing as might be imagined. But those wrists seemed like tree trunks.
Aaron seemed surprised by a story I read as a kid on how he built his wrists up. So I grew up squeezing rubber balls for no reason.
@thehoffather Nothing is surprising in 2026 Antisemitism, but if this is real, as it seems to be, truly disgusting.
Human Rights except for Jews in Washington State.
Don't know when this was,but this hate-monger should have been removed from the "Human Rights" Commission that very day.
@JonathanTurley Second time Platner's done that to deflect from his own sordid mess. Becoming a theme.
I generally don't comment on normal, non hateful political races.
But this isn't politics, it's an unveiled historical dog whistle for Antisemitism:
Blame the the Jews for your own problems.
@JakeSherman Very disturbingly so, it seems.
Sums up Antisemitism in 2026 that this has only started to gain any attention.
Much less the widespread outrage it deserves.
@HillelNeuer Normally let something like this pass.
This is simply bizarre coming from anyone in the street, let alone someone with a high-profile UN post.
@AndrewSolender Wouldn't normally comment on a political ad. But this one is inflammatory in many ways.
Why is there a Star of David behind the person they want to attack? Just to drive ancient prejudice, while stirring up people.
Massie loves controversy. This makes Antisemitism seem Ok.
@BBGreatMoments He's a professional ballplayer and doesn't run it out?
Best case scenario: he didn't realize infield fly rule not applicable, which is not good, either.
No voices from dugout or 1st base coach telling him to run?
Maybe sit him out until the game's fundamentals are clear.
@Ostrov_A The problem is the brainwashed who deny. this ever happened, even though 6 million Jews and many others died.
And the unchecked, rampant Antisemitism of today brings truly dark clouds on the horizon for not only Jews, but society.
