Important report released today by the NSW Coroner. The investigative review includes 550 domestic violence related homicides. Of these cases:
🚩 56% were intimate partner homicides
🚩 in 80% of DV-related homicides husbands, boyfriends, & male exes were the killers,
🚩 most male killers deployed at least 3 types of abuse against women - physical, social, economic, stalking & sexual violence,
🚩 almost two-thirds of the 244 partner homicides involved a man killing his female partner in the context of relationship separation.
When women kill, they almost always kill their abuser.

.@IlonaKickbusch noted that 60% of australians do not trust the government, commercial entities or the media - that's really alarming, and leaves a large gap for bad faith actors to insert themselves in.
