‼️It is awful that this birthday event for Xavier was cancelled. It shouldn't have happened and the people responsible should be held accountable.
I understand very well that people who were excited are angry and hurt. ‼️

That said, I cannot let the narrative linger in the air that "all pro-Valko people are horrible because of this".
(I am not accusing the OG poster of thinking this btw, I just want to clarify for people who I have seen have jumped to this conclusion.)

This fandom has a generalization problem - where is the nuance in people's thinking?

Firstly, the notice itself writes <people who "like" (...) Aoyin>. So it doesn't seem like the posters themselves view the harassers as actual Valko-fans. Just people who are claiming to be so, or regular toxic fans (which all LIs have).

Sabotage of LI's events has been a lasting issue in the (toxic side of the) LADS fandom; predating Valko's announcement. And I hope it is combated and is stopped, such that people can enjoy the game and all events to the fullest.

The vast majority of us who are pro-Valko (and other normal players) are firmly against ALL harassment, sabotage etc. - we are just regular boycotters and peaceful protesters.

Are people so willing to forget that the vast majority of pro-Valko people already were LADS players and have other mains?
For example; my no.1 main was, still is and will most likely always be Xavier.

Most of us boycotters/protesters limit our protesting to posting on social media, commenting underneath LADS official posts and sending (respectful) emails to customer service.
We want the game (as originally intended) and all 6 LIs to thrive. After all, one of our hastags is #LadsIs6.
