A 15 year old girl just died of COVID. Somewhere in the chain of transmissions that led to her death was almost certainly someone who was eligible for a vaccine but didn't get one. But for that person's decision, she would be alive today.

This shocked me. I’ve always assumed virtually all political appointees were part of the president’s party. Apparently that’s wrong, especially when the president is a Republican.

If 65% of the country ends up getting vaccinated and 1/3 of the rest have already had COVID, that gets to a total of 77%, which is pretty close to the new target.

I don’t know how you can write this article without discussing the inclusion of people who have had COVID in the group of people with immunity. It’s not like you can only acquire immunity from the vaccine.
