@jrodri29 And I dont want to frame my statement on the economy as one vs. The other. We need to consider both the infection/death rate as well as a solution to minimize the long term effects of our economic shut down.
@jrodri29 The problem with waiting is we now have to balance economic instability. A vaccine, at the earliest, won't come for another 16-18 months. If we wait for a vaccine, imo, more people will die due to the economic situation. For every 1% increase in unemployment, 40,000 people die.
@jrodri29 I'm by no means an expert. But it is absolutely counterproductive to squash conversations surrounding re-opening economies, specifically referring to the media. Side note: social distancing should still be practiced for the indefinite future, but it's time to take the next steps.
@jrodri29 Sheltering in place is not a long term solution. It's a band-aid. We need more conversation surrounding long term plans to re-open businesses while keeping the curve low.
@walkoff28 Go to multiple sources. Never put all of your eggs on one basket. Even if you politically disagree, it's good to get multiple viewpoints on the same topic. There are great YouTube channels that are independent. Slide into my dm's if you want some good ones!
@njrowan They belong on the same level of hell as the people who sprint towards the front of the plane right after its landed. And people who take their shoes off in flight. ๐คข
@toddvs35@Rarleo I've seen video a couple times now..
I'm gunna venture to say throwing at his head in this particular incident was unintentional. Inside? Sure. Upper body? sure. At his head intentionally? Doubtful
