We're not waiting for the PIP — StakeBaby Validator (#118) is starting to share priority fees with delegators ASAP
First snapshot on March 31, 2026 00:00 UTC. Full details + % by end of month
Inspired by @sandeepnailwal’s spirit about extra yield for $POL stakers
Honestly the part that gets me here is how fast it moved. Community member sees a better way to handle delegator rewards, writes the full PIP himself, and the team pushes it through governance the same day. No committee meetings, no six month review cycle. Someone did the work because they gave a damn and we moved on it.
That's the Polygon I want to run. If that ever changes feel free to @ me all you want 😂
@chohunjang You’re welcome mate:)
Regarding your question - based on my understanding, it’s airdropped to delegators the same way it does with validators (I don’t think you need to claim it, but better checking)
The calculation is proportionally among all delegators
We’ve finalized distributing 5,000 POL!
Calculation:
Variable: 11,176 POL × 38% (10-20M tier) = 4,247 POL
Fixed: 637 POL
Total: 4,884 POL (rounded to 5,000 POL)
Eligible delegators:

3rd airdrop will be distributed later this month!

2nd Airdrop Update
As you know, our first airdrop was based on the old system (PIP-65), where 100% of priority fees went to validators and were fully dependent on pool size
Starting with the next payout (estimated in ~10 days), PIP-85 changes everything
8/8
We’re committed to sharing priority fees with our delegators every month - regardless of PIP changes
More details and exact numbers for the 2nd airdrop coming soon

Key Points:
* We are sharing part of the 75% that is not dependent on pool size
* The larger the pool → the higher the total airdrop for all delegators
* The bigger your stake → the higher your personal airdrop

We’ve finalized the first airdrop distribution - and it was completed much faster than expected 🙂
A total of 8,609 POL (38% share) was distributed to 216 eligible delegators!
Huge thanks to everyone supporting us - and get ready for the next airdrop in ~3 weeks 👇
I risked my capital so you didn't have to
2 weeks ago, I deployed $400 to find out...
🤔 sPOL vs dPOL: Which is better?
- 1500 POL to sPOL (liquid stake)
- 1500 POL to Legend Nodes (traditional stake)
- 1500 POL to Pathrock (traditional stake)
Yesterday, delegators received a share of priority fees:
- @LegendNodes : 8,609 POL (38% share)
- @pathrock2 : 469 POL (30% share)
RESULTS:
👍 I received 4.55 POL from Legend Nodes
👍 1.61 POL from Pathrock
🤏 Meanwhile, my sPOL only appreciated by 1.57 POL
🎂 BONUS: My 1500 POL stakes appreciated from $126.04 to $143.30 🚀
- Even a small validator like Pathrock is more generous than sPOL validators
- Let's see if this keeps up
🔮 Will update the numbers here every ~2 weeks!
