@beilis_jay I understand that, I am speaking about that from a the lens of legend, the narratives of blood libel legends have been documented for centuries and were designed to cause harm. Documenting even terrible legends helps us identify patterns in future ones.

One of my students submitted a draft of a paper that listed me as "Professor Deez Nuts," and I cackled when I saw it.

She was really embarrassed, she really didn't need to be, she is sweet, works really hard, and is warm and welcoming to her peers.

She explained to me that she likes to leave little jokes in her work to make it more fun. She honestly didn't need to explain and I encouraged her to continue to use her humor to inspire her writing.
