Exciting update: our root observation boxes are showing blueberry root growth! We'll continue monitoring their development and use them in an experiment to investigate nitrogen uptake and root age. Stay tuned!

Excited to share the final prototype for our root observation window, which will be used to observe & analyze blueberry roots right in the field! The removable acrylic window allows for sampling of roots without excising them from the plant. @GNunezUF

@legoldsby joined the lab last January. She recently planted a research trial where she will investigate how to fertilize evergreen 🫐 bushes. This @FDACS funded research is key for Florida farmers south of the I4 corridor
