Mind blowing to me to still see developers (especially game developers) be anti-AI. So much more is within reach with AI. Refusing to use will just cause you to get left behind.
@thorstenball It's a fair question. I mainly use it for CI. The LLM doesn't always run the CI jobs before pushing so it's a good safety check before merging.
It can be a pain in the butt though π€·ββοΈ
Here's my completely original, never been done before, digital photo frame turned into a home dashboard/calendar!
(Seriously though, Thank you @wesbos for sharing this out. Such a fun project)
A few of my personalized changes:
- replaced photos section on Today screen with sports. Priorities.
- made it so I can add/remove new chores from the device itself
- added a jobs tab (small tasks around the house that my kids can do to earn money)
- made the week view show 2 weeks
- calendar assigns events to people if it starts with their name
- Weather shows every 3 hours and weekly forecast
@DevAfter5 Ideas used to be cheap, a dime a dozen, and code was expensive.
Now code is cheap and ideas and more valuable than ever.
Execution is still king though
Teslas fly now and I successfully copied someone else's repo + instructions to make a cool calendar... so I guess you can say we both got big things going on π
