Recently, we went to the Oak Creek Water Treatment Plant. We learned that they try to keep water safe as it travels to our homes and to other businesses, by making sure the water has low chemical disinfectant levels so it is safer for us to drink and use. #apeswater

I have a drainage pond in my back yard where rain water from some of the roads in my neighborhood flow into. This rain could carry some of the pollutants on the road such as oil. This is known as not point source pollution. #apeswater @franklinlorax

I went out kayaking today rather than going on a boat. Kayaks are more sustainable, since they don't require gasoline, or oil, and don't produce sound pollution!
