@landforce In a packaging design class I had my lecturer said it was so it could capture the little bit that dripped off the side and not dirty the outside of the bottle. I always liked that.
@yul_kwon@StevenDLevitt@MostlyAdmiring I really enjoyed listening to this. The tit-for-tat method is particularly interesting as a way to set boundaries and expectations in a professional context.
Introducing Scout Isaac Gamon!
By far our greatest achievement of 2020. I have such an incredible newfound admiration of @leigh_rubin for carrying this little bean and bringing him out into the world.
Crazy how he’s gone from ugly cute to utterly adorable in less than a day 😍

Long ago I asked a Sr leader @ Google why Larry picked Sundar as CEO. Apparently it wasn't coz Sundar was smartest, most visionary etc. At one pt other leaders just couldn't agree w/ each other unless he was there to mediate. Low ego, high EQ is an under-rated leadership quality.
Let’s talk about High Agency: an attitude I’ve seen in every successful product manager & leader I’ve known.
Some ppl are born/raised with High Agency. It can also be developed later in life.
High agency is a prerequisite for making a profound impact in one's life & work

@tvti27@bon_ser@Janet12358W It's also an ethnicity, albeit very confusing and something I've tried to make sense of myself for years. When I did a genes test it came back as 'European Jew'. But truth be told there are many jews who relate to being ethnically Jewish but not religiously Jewish.
