Preach, girl…

OKC invested heavily into softball in 1987 and has been the home of the #WCWS since 1990. I think their gamble paid off.

Law enforcement’s response to this tragedy is a complete failure. Why are we funding police departments if they decide it’s best to wait for federal agents to spearhead a response? Why didn’t the SWAT team take the lead from the district’s police chief? https://t.co/McfUR9yPh5

I hung up after being hold for more than an hour. I’m just trying to talk to a real person. @OHPDPS

[LeighAnne Manwarren @leighannem1]

Been on hold with @OHPDPS for more than 50 mins now. I just want to know why my driver’s license renewal still hasn’t been processed after I filed online more than a month ago.

@ajc I hope your reporters are pushing back against what the police said about the suspect’s motivation. Publicizing it was dehumanizing and perpetuating the racist hyper-sexualization of Asian American women. These people were victims and shouldn’t be blamed because of their job.

[LeighAnne Manwarren @leighannem1]

The Atlanta police is trying to say the suspect claims he is a “sex addict” and wanted to eliminate the temptation. Publicizing that is allowing him to blame the victims and perpetuate the long standing over-sexualization of Asian females. That’s racism. https://t.co/r9ti67twTK

It is officially one week since I started going back to the office for work. I now think I run around like a Muppet. I’m carrying way too many things while I rush to get anywhere and my feet aren’t used to real shoes.

FedEx delivered these packages to the wrong address. Two hours later, someone dropped them off at my door. It’s nice to see that not all people are bad. 😊

@JBirdwell The closest I got was a sandwich. “Thanks for informing us; this info is wrong, but your writing wasn’t bad.” FYI the reported info wasn’t wrong but I appreciated the other two sentiments.

[LeighAnne Manwarren @leighannem1]

@SilasAllen1 I can’t wait for you to say that to an irrational caller to the paper.
