@ChristineKayNew lol.. that just shows your utter lack of intellect. When you govern a country you do exactly that. You have to think about everyone who lives in it not just the left or the right. That’s the problem Starmer is too much a statesman and a genuine person.
@ChristineKayNew The problem with this wing of the Labour Party is not merely ideological; it is temperamental. There is a chronic lack of discipline and strategic seriousness. I would much rather see Labour in government than Reform.
@ChristineKayNew This is a Corbyn answer and surely with all the brains and technology we have at our disposal we have better arguments than those. I would like any answer that made Britain a wealthier, healthier and happier place to live in peace. That I am afraid is not it.
@ChristineKayNew I actually give you Norway but their whole wealth is predicted in what you just said you abhorred. They just used it well and for the good of their people. I am a Scot and our country would be very wealthy if we had done the same. I am not a nationalist…
@ChristineKayNew I might agree with the premise but in a global world based on inequality you expect a British government to be able to dismiss what you consider to tbe exploitation. What government should be model ourselves on? I would be intrested!!!
@ChristineKayNew However I don’t think you answer the question re self serving. I would argue that Clive Lewis is more self serving. His political beliefs have the potential to bring forward a Reform government.
@ChristineKayNew I think nationalisation is a form of idealism. I would need to do a deep dive to determine my position but understand the lack of funds preclude it right now. The Blair / Brown was incredibly progressive so do t understand your statement.
@ChristineKayNew I think you are a tad confused re blackrock however I think there should be a specific clothing allowance like other countries. We can’t expect our premiers to pay for it.
