@VivekGRamaswamy Can you possibly be that dumb? “Intent” is a condition of the mind at a point in time. Past intent is not erased by future events. When hearing your pandering voice after I eat makes me puke, that doesn’t alter the fact that I intentionally ate 3 slices of pizza for lunch.
Decency matters. It matters more than money, more than cleverness, more than eloquence. Forrest Gump would be a better choice than DJT. Only those who are, in their hearts, indecent themselves would support so fundamentally dishonest and indecent a person as the former president.
WOW! The way @ColinJost Honored his late grandfather tonight…
“My grandfather, a Staten Island firefighter, voted for you, Mr. President. He voted for you in the last election that he ever voted in.”
“He voted for you and the reason that he voted for you is because you’re a decent man. My grandpa voted for decency and decency is why we’re all here tonight.”

Truth Social Stock Crashes as Donald Trump Maneuvers to Sell His Own Shares - “The drop has resulted in the former president's net worth dropping by several billion dollars in just three weeks.” It’s no surprise he’ll bail out & leave his minions hi & dry. https://t.co/02PJKWzu5t
@Nerfthosehorses@JenShahade The statement by the Board affirming the accuracy of the previously undisclosed (or undiscussed) facts presented is the 1st time US Chess has addressed the blame-shifting drama. Victims aren’t to blame for assaults. Nor is the US Chess staff. 100% of the fault lies w/ perpetrator
@Nerfthosehorses@JenShahade Tamburro says a lot of people in the community asked him to get to the bottom of claims that there were reports that could have been more deeply investigated sooner but weren’t. He did an investigative report, found facts, & presents them saying the reader can connect the dots.
@shivahappens@ChessProblem There’s no paywall; it just isn’t distributed digitally. But ACM did authorize US Chess to post a pdf of the piece; that’s on the page with the EB statement. And, please, it’s a perspective piece — the author’s view. USCF was asked to check the facts re the org. They’re accurate.
@NMIHarris@NoJokeChris Randy was also seen shaking hands & kibbitzing over a chess board w/ NJSCF board member Sean Finn after mending fences a few months back & with the author of ACM’s October cover feature on Jen Shahade. It’s sort of what the USATE is all about —the chess community coming together.
@ChessProblem Hi, MrDodgy. Publicly accusing someone of being an accomplice to sex abuse is defamatory in the US. There’s definitely some gaslighting & bullying going on, but the perpetrators of it are those who say their goal is to cause reputational harm & bring disrepute on a professional.
@womeninchess You can just call or message me to set up a time to talk. Emilia went to school with my son; there were only about 118 in the graduating class. I’m on the US Chess board that verified the accuracy of facts ACM reported. I hardly think that I need to use a website contact us link.
@NoJokeChris@RandyBauer As I’ve said several times, what you are engaging in isn’t cute, funny or a joke. Some of your followers & retweeters have explicitly said that the purpose of spreading that message is to damage the personal & professional reputation of the woman who lead the charge on Safe Play.
@NoJokeChris@RandyBauer To be clear, I’m not giving you legal advice. I’ve expressed a well-informed opinion that tweeting that someone is an accomplice to an alleged sex abuser (in some cases, an alleged abuser of children) is defamatory per se. IMO, you should retract that stmt & publicly apologize.
