Meeting with @vijayeraji and the (former) @statsig team at OpenAI’s Seattle office today. It’s the first time we’re all meeting together in person. It’s uncanny how similar the approaches to product and company building are.
It’s an honor to continue their work at @Amplitude_HQ!
i've been building something new we're previewing today 👀
every product team runs the same loop: build, ship, use, learn. coding agents have made the build-and-ship absurdly fast. but the use-and-learn half has barely moved. figuring out what's worth building, and proving it worked, is still done painfully manually today.
we've been prototyping an agent we're calling wave 🌊
it's a proactive product agent that auto-analyzes behavioral data in @Amplitude_HQ, surfaces what's worth fixing next with the evidence and the metrics it will move, orchestrates the actions via coding agents, then tracks whether what you ship actually worked.
every AI-native team is building internal software factories, so we wanted to make surfacing everything important that's happening in your behavioral data seamless to feed them, setup the system to help generate plans based on your preferences, more proactively ship those PRs, then self-improve your product and development loop with every iteration.
i've been using wave to auto-analyze and fix stuff happening across my product lines including fixing tool errors in our MCP server, optimizing responses and UX in our global agent, identifying places to improve our conversions and click-throughs across our landing page, and other places.
we're opening up a closed beta today and we'd love to embed/forward deploy with your team to help self-improve your product ❤️
We built AI agents that understand what your data actually means using the language of product analytics.
Our agents reason over the semantic context teams create through normal Amplitude usage (charts, cohorts, experiments, taxonomy) and use natural language to help product, data, and growth get to trustworthy answers faster.
What's under the hood: An enrichment pipeline that creates a knowledge graph, organizational context that captures institutional knowledge and our Nova-powered query engine built for agent scale workloads at low cost.
In this article, Jacob Newman and @Nikhilgr
share our learnings from the last 6 months of building and operating agents in production as well as where we’re going with long running specialized Agents for asynchronous work.

"You need to give people time to play." - @akothari
To kick off Amplitude AI Week, we heard from Akshay Kothari about how @NotionHQ ran their own AI transformation: by giving everyone from engineering to finance the space to rethink how they work, test new AI solutions, and exploit the hell out of what works.

Meet the newest member of your data team 🤝
We partnered with @NotionHQ to bring Amplitude analytics into Notion Custom Agents. Think of it as your new AI teammate that can summarize charts, spin up insights, and drop real product data into your notes and PRDs.

in case you missed it, @Amplitude_HQ dropped the world's greatest analyst agent last week that can leverage the entire Amplitude platform.
anything about your data you've ever wanted to know - just ask :)
Al has collapsed the time it takes to ship a feature. Now it's all about shipping the right thing. It's just as hard as it ever was.
As coding gets automated, agentic analytics becomes the bottleneck. Teams that win will build within context rich environments that capture user behavior and customer feedback, making that data accessible to both builders and agents.
Today @Amplitude_HQ is launching our Al Analytics Platform with Agents and MCP. Autonomous analytics that helps builders and coding agents ship products that their customers actually want.
Just as our partner @claudeai has reinvented software, Amplitude is reinventing analytics for the Al age.
We have achieved 76% accuracy for complex production grade queries and agentic usage has grown 10x in 3 months.
Don't just build fast, build what's right.
Try it for free, today.
next up in amplitude's mcp skills library: deep experiment analysis 👨🏻🔬
say you've got an A/B test wrapping up and need to make a ship/no-ship call.
the /analyze-experiment skill will:
- validate data quality (SRM checks, sample size, statistical power)
- analyze your primary metric, secondaries, and guardrails with full statistical context
- break results down by segment to find who it helped, who it hurt, and where the real lift is coming from
- pull in session replays and customer feedback to explain the why behind the numbers
- synthesize everything into a clear ship / iterate / abandon recommendation
instead of jumping between experiment results, building segment tables, checking guardrails one by one, and writing up findings in a doc, this skill runs the full analysis in one shot.
Traditional UIs are dead. Nobody is going to login to the 100th SaaS dashboard.
Instead, UIs will dynamically enter your workflow.
Anthropic is the first AI company to launch an app layer into chat. You can now use applications directly in Claude through the new MCP Apps.
@Amplitude_HQ is one of @AnthropicAI's launch partners.
You can bring Amplitude charts into @claudeai, explore product data, and iterate on insights. You never need to login to another dashboard to access analytics again.

Vamos, @RafaelNadal!
As you get ready to graduate from tennis, I’ve got a few things to share before I maybe get emotional.
Let’s start with the obvious: you beat me—a lot. More than I managed to beat you. You challenged me in ways no one else could. On clay, it felt like I was stepping into your backyard, and you made me work harder than I ever thought I could just to hold my ground. You made me reimagine my game—even going so far as to change the size of my racquet head, hoping for any edge.
I’m not a very superstitious person, but you took it to the next level. Your whole process. All those rituals. Assembling your water bottles like toy soldiers in formation, fixing your hair, adjusting your underwear... All of it with the highest intensity. Secretly, I kind of loved the whole thing. Because it was so unique—it was so you.
And you know what, Rafa, you made me enjoy the game even more.
OK, maybe not at first. After the 2004 Australian Open, I achieved the #1 ranking for the first time. I thought I was on top of the world. And I was—until two months later, when you walked on the court in Miami in your red sleeveless shirt, showing off those biceps, and you beat me convincingly. All that buzz I’d been hearing about you—about this amazing young player from Mallorca, a generational talent, probably going to win a major someday—it wasn’t just hype.
We were both at the start of our journey and it’s one we ended up taking together. Twenty years later, Rafa, I have to say: What an incredible run you’ve had. Including 14 French Opens—historic! You made Spain proud... you made the whole tennis world proud.
I keep thinking about the memories we’ve shared. Promoting the sport together. Playing that match on half-grass, half-clay. Breaking the all-time attendance record by playing in front of more than 50,000 fans in Cape Town, South Africa. Always cracking each other up. Wearing each other out on the court and then, sometimes, almost literally having to hold each other up during trophy ceremonies.
I’m still grateful you invited me to Mallorca to help launch the Rafa Nadal Academy in 2016. Actually, I kind of invited myself. I knew you were too polite to insist on me being there, but I didn’t want to miss it. You have always been a role model for kids around the world, and Mirka and I are so glad that our children have all trained at your academies. They had a blast and learned so much—like thousands of other young players. Although I always worried my kids would come home playing tennis as lefties.
And then there was London—the Laver Cup in 2022. My final match. It meant everything to me that you were there by my side—not as my rival but as my doubles partner. Sharing the court with you that night, and sharing those tears, will forever be one of the most special moments of my career.
Rafa, I know you’re focused on the last stretch of your epic career. We will talk when it’s done. For now, I just want to congratulate your family and team, who all played a massive role in your success. And I want you to know that your old friend is always cheering for you, and will be cheering just as loud for everything you do next.
Rafa that!
Best always, your fan,
Roger
Thrilled for @DjokerNole ’s win. I’ll never forget this interview - even if you don’t agree w him, you can’t deny the dude’s resolve and commitment to his values in the face of unfathomable pressure, not to mention personal cost. No wonder he’s the GOAT.
