@TRASHTUNDRA If I ever rise to a position of having “people” and something like this ever happens to me and these “people” I’ve hired/appointed/whatever wait this long to get me somewhere to be evaluated or call 911, I’m firing all of their asses as soon as I’m physically and mentally able.
Remembered today that the number of men in my life whose advice when my (ex)wife wanted a divorce was any combination of “tell her no”, “just don’t let her”, and “remind her of her commitment to you” was more than it should have been (which is zero).
@billcole63 @txsalth2o@Bob_Wachter Even if he was trying to avoid responsibility somehow (he’s very clearly not), the ageism is YIKES. Passing out is not the same as falling, in my mind. And a personal attack is rarely - if ever - a decent argument.
@WMUR9 I assume this is because they’ve already cleared up every instance of children not having three meals a day or a safe place to sleep or heat in the wintertime and therefor have some free time on their hands?
I don't know why Lance Armstrong woke up one morning recently and decided that trans athletes and "fairness in sports" should be a topic that needs his public exploration, but I do have thoughts on all this and context for those without it. (thread)
