🛰️🌍 After an exciting week of analysing #satellite images from various Earth-orbiting satellites, ESA Earth Observation Remote Sensing Workshop 2024 ended successfully last Friday!  🎉 ✨

👩‍💻 🧑‍💻 Throughout the week, a talented group of brilliant #students learned how invaluable satellite observations are for supporting human development and monitoring Earth’s environment, even in the most remote regions! 🗺️🍃

🌐📊 The last day of the workshop was dedicated to data fusion. This consisted of bringing together all the knowledge from the different observation techniques they had gained during the week to perform a comprehensive analysis of a specific area of the Earth. The students applied this technique to a place in French Guyana 🔍📷

🎊 The participants returned home with many amazing memories and new skills, more than ever ready to deepen their understanding of Earth Observation and consider a career in this incredible field. 🌍 🚀 🛰️
