In 1969, Judy and Jerry Griffin crossed paths for the first time at the iconic Woodstock festival. Their encounter lasted only 48 hours, but it was enough time for them to form a deep connection. Surprisingly, over 50 years have passed since that fateful meeting, and the couple is still happily together. They now have two sons and five grandchildren.
Judy was on her way to Woodstock with two friends when their car suddenly broke down. Fortunately, a Volkswagen van pulled up beside them, carrying Jerry and three of his friends. They decided to travel together to the festival, setting the stage for their unexpected romance.
In a recent interview, Jerry expressed their remarkable journey by saying, "For 50 years we've been looking for a picture of ourselves, and out of the blue one shows up.. We'd known each other less than 48 hours when that was taken."
Judy added, "By the time we got out of the car and set up camp, we were into each other, and we basically were together from that point on."
Dear Republicans,
If you don’t like a trans woman being featured on a can of Bud Light, don’t drink Bud Light.
If an M&M in sneakers offends you, don’t eat M&Ms. If Cracker Jill hurts your feelings, don’t eat that stuff either.
If you don’t like the fact that Target sells LGBTQ+ merchandise, don’t shop there.
And if Amanda Gorman’s famous poem, “The Hill We Climb” upsets you, then don’t read it.
The point is that no one is forcing you to do any of that shit. But YOU don’t get to decide if the rest of us can.
