People always ask me where the tan suit came from. I think it’s time the truth finally came out.
Tune in to the series finale of Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness on @HBOMax.
Buttigieg: The choice could not be clearer. When it comes to the U.S. Senate, we have Abdul El-Sayed, who insists that money in politics has gone too far. And we have him running against Mike Rogers, who insists on being part of the problem.
We have one candidate, Abdul El-Sayed, who wants to expand affordable health care and keep more money in your pocket. And we have another candidate, Mike Rogers, who literally voted against the Affordable Care Act. And you better believe he will cut health care one more time if you give him a chance in the United States Senate.
So we will not let that happen. Mike Rogers has disqualified himself from going back to Washington.
El-Sayed: Now Mike, I'm just going to remind you: if you don't know how to say the name, keep the name out your damn mouth. Or just call me Abdul. But I got some opinions about his name. See, it's very fitting for him: Rogers.
Cause that's his answer every time a corporation or Donald Trump tells him to do something.
"Mike, we need you to put a data center in the backyard." — "Roger!"
"Mike, we need you to hike their prescription drug prices." — "Roger!"
"Mike, we need you to rubber-stamp this war we shouldn't be fighting." — "Roger!"
"Mike" — and this one's Donald Trump — "I need you to lick these boots." — "Roger!"
And I think—I think I speak for all of us here in Michigan when I say that we are done with Rogers. Go back to Florida where you belong!
Breaking: GOP Congressman Andy Ogles, who has said gay people have “no place in America” and “Muslims don't belong in American society,” just lost his primary in Tennessee.
He will no longer serve in Congress.
Jennifer Welch: “They say oh he campaigned with Hasan Piker. Who gives a shit? Tough titties, get over it. All of you are campaigning with JD Vance, Stephen Miller, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, etc. Go fuck yourselves. Look at the monsters running this country into the ground”
So @AbdulElSayed has won the Michigan primary! The New York Times and AP join NBC in calling the race for him.
Don’t be distracted by the thin margin. He defeated $30 million of AIPAC ads, as well as an opponent backed by Schumer, Pelosi. Gretchen Whitmer, and Gary Peters.
Tucker Carlson: “I couldn’t believe we did that when we double tapped the girls’ school. I feel so personally affronted by it. You bomb a girls’ school and you don’t apologize? I feel like smacking him in the face. Who do you think you are?”
So to be clear: Abdul El-Sayed put out a tweet asking his followers not to be personally abusive or insulting about Haley Stevens.
Stevens put out a tweet personally attacking El-Sayed for being a person who blames his defeats on Jewish Americans. Just a disgusting slander.
I'm still amazed that Americans voted for Trump over Biden on the economy when Biden's economy was far, far stronger than what he inherited from Trump and what Trump has now done since.
"Why I don't like Haley Stevens? Easy. She's too much of a corporate & Israel shill…Fuck that. I'm so sick of America bending the knee…for Israel…Already don't like indirectly supporting a genocide…if I can say that my own state's responsible for that, I feel deeply ashamed."
