Interestingly, Dems won’t even try to “elite capture” the Palestinian cause. It’s like something @sarahschulman3 told me once: Palestine is the one thing that can’t be co-opted. They co-opt feminism and BLM & LGBTQ rights. But the empire cannot co-opt an anti-imperial resistance.
