I have experience in both theological and medical education, so I offer some gentle pushback: a DMin relates to a theological PhD much like an MD or DO relates to a biomedical PhD. Professional and research doctorates serve different purposes, but both are legitimate doctorates.
I have a Doctor of Ministry (Dmin) degree. This allows me to type this: it is not a doctoral level degree and it is not a terminal degree. Moreover anyone who calls themselves "doctor" with a Dmin degree is to be scrutinized heavily.

@CaryKelly11 If you don’t mind me asking, is this an OMAD breakfast, or do you eat later on too? Honest question. Appreciate your posts. Thanks, either way!
We need to be aware that the next generation is going to grow up with AI.
If your sermon sounds like a chatbot, they will know, and once they realize the voice in the pulpit isn’t real, they won’t just reject your method; they will start questioning your message.
I appreciate music streaming and use @AppleMusic daily.
But, theres just something special about listening through whole albums on physical media.
The intentionality required to enjoy the art as it was originally intended makes the experience deeply fulfilling.
I think we, as a society, should get back to the activity of sitting down and listening to a record in the living room
Lights dimmed and candle on, drink of choice in hand, and one of your favorite albums playing is a great way to spend the night
Something else phones ruined
I will die on this hill. We should hear the congregation above the instrumentation, and the one leading, so much so that they threaten to drown them out... otherwise there's a problem!
My Dad, Wally Flack, passed away Tuesday. We feel the weight of this loss deeply, yet not as those without hope. Christ is risen, and because He lives, death is not the end. Please pray for our family as we mourn and cling to the Lord. https://t.co/atAIPKDcM6
@MichaelCarlino @CovPod I sincerely enjoyed this, Brother. It’s encouraging to see new work being done to articulate a distinctly Baptist political theology. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to your book being published.
Baptists are not pluralists. We do not accept the godless relativity of truth in the public square.
What we insist on is the church must be composed of believers and therefore is separated from the nation, which is mixed with unbelievers. We also insist that the church must govern its own doctrine and worship, and the state must stay out of it.
