@pranavshetty001@jdkanani@RanaDaggubati The training of neural networks is literally attempting to find the optimal weights that would get the closest match to the given data.
I mean, it's technically possible to NOT TRAIN the ai on the data online. The algorithm scraped the data. Someone wrote that algorithm.
@pranavshetty001@jdkanani@RanaDaggubati Guardrails like copyrights are established to ensure reduced ripoffs. Which are ofcourse not immune to malpractices. But I'm not saying it's fool proof and we do in many ways learn from art before, but with ai it's blatant cloning.
@sushantpandey_ What's ironical is the lie of democratization. The payment going to the corporate institution and not the artists. You're right, the film industry may not be good, but ai doesn't solve anything there. It's not improving anything. Just maybe taking out even more people.
@shobhitic It's not even remotely the same.
Animations were newer forms of creation. It was quite literally a tool, because the artist still had to create with it.
AI art is practically theft. Trained on artists data, who in no way consented and will not be compensated for their art. Sad.
