During the meeting at the Kenyan Embassy in Addis Ababa, Amb. Gichuhi underscored the State Department's core mandate to champion the protection of rights and promote the welfare of Kenyans abroad through strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
She emphasized that @Diaspora_KE is dedicated to protecting, engaging, empowering, and prospering the Kenyan diaspora through continuous dialogue while ensuring their integration into national development initiatives.
Amb. George M. Orina, Kenya's envoy to Ethiopia and the host of the meeting, reiterated the mission's commitment to supporting Kenyans in Ethiopia and called for continuous engagement with the embassy.
