@hangingwithmr @ultralouweezy Yeah, that second one is the course I did. Looks like they've thrown some extra climbs into the section from 20-40km now.

@hangingwithmr @ultralouweezy @muddyvee They had Red Bull Cola. Not as good as OG red Coke, but it will do in a pinch. Worst thing was that it was all warm.

The last real aid station had a range of beers, including AF.

@hangingwithmr @ultralouweezy @muddyvee The first part has definitely changed. We went through Fuchsl am See twice this year. The back half looks the same from what I can tell.

I think being a good 1000m lower in general makes heat more of an issue that other similar races. Was 35 in the afternoon this time.

@ultralouweezy @hangingwithmr @muddyvee Not sure I agree with that. The second big climb in particular is mostly on a pretty wide track and lends itself very well to poles.

That said, it was balls hot this year and I needed every shred of help I could find on that climb (and everywhere else).
