Why do many applicants believe that they have the ability to answer these questions with no professional ecological/geological input whatsoever?

@annetteNZevans Don’t be afraid to include aspects of your research that caused problems but, do emphasise how they were overcome. Much of the research journey is about personal development as much as the end result. Good luck!
