Languages. I love to teach them. I love to learn them. A student found me on Duolingo and called it inspiring. The language app is well known and has recently send me a message - I’ve been learning on it for 11 years! Thanks @duolingo . This has been a lot of fun.
For me, leadership is about building for the future, not just the next election.
That means strengthening healthcare, creating opportunities for young people and families, and building a modern economy that works for everyone.
The choices we make today will shape Ontario for decades to come. Let's get them right.

Today, I officially launched my campaign to become the next leader of the Ontario Liberal Party.
Ontario families are working harder than ever and getting less for it. We need a government focused on affordability, healthcare, education, and opportunity again.
Let’s build Ontario.

JD Vance is lecturing the Pope on Catholicism and Pierre Poilievre is lecturing Mark Carney on economics and RFK Jr is lecturing scientists about vaccines and Donald Trump is lecturing the world on tariffs and Pete Hegseth is quoting Pulp Fiction and thinking it’s the Bible
Why did your tired Conservative government vote down @OntLiberal MPP @Rob4Ajax Bill from 6 months ago that did exactly this?
Glad you finally did it. Doesn’t distract us from all the records you’re trying to keep hidden from the public, though. #onpoli
Students don’t need more debt.
Premier Ford is making it more expensive to go to college or university by drastically cutting OSAP grants. This hurts students and families.
When we invest in students, we invest in our economy and our communities.
Add your name and tell the government: Hands off OSAP.

We have seen with the Finch West LRT and the Ottawa LRT that it’s critical to ensure the new line can open and operate reliably on Day 1 in every weather condition.
No excuses. Just make sure to get it right because everyone is fed up with how long this has taken.
Doug Ford has failed to build the housing young people and our communities need. Ontario is dead last in new housing starts.
But he’s got a serious case of 401 tunnel vision.
Thank you to everyone who has to work outside today to keep our province moving and services running. And to those who work indoors but had to come into the workplace today for a variety of reasons, I see you and I appreciate you.
Today, Bonnie Crombie announced her decision to step aside as Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, effective immediately.
We thank her for her leadership and service. The Party will move promptly to select an interim leader.

I want to thank Bonnie Crombie for her leadership. For how hard she fought for Ontario and for a better vision for our communities.
As MPP, I’m looking forward to carrying on that fight alongside my caucus colleagues, party members, and concerned Ontarians across the province.
The months ahead will be an exciting and critical time for our party. We will debate ideas to evolve and strengthen it, and develop policy solutions that meaningfully improve people’s lives and strengthen our economy.
Brockville shared a similar message that I’ve been hearing across Ontario.
At pre-budget consultations, organizations told us hospitals are over capacity and the health care system isn’t where it needs to be. Libraries and community services are being asked to respond to growing mental health and addiction needs. Schools need more adults to support students with special needs. Homelessness is spiraling out of control and supportive housing isn’t keeping up with demand. Colleges are being underfunded and not meeting labour market needs.
No matter where we go, the message is clear. Ontario needs more support. To create strong communities, we need a government that will grow our economy and invest in people and the services we all depend on.
As Ontario Liberals, we need to start showing up, listening, and working hand in hand with rural communities, cities, and towns. We need to challenge assumptions and ourselves in order to truly build a province where everyone has the opportunity to succeed and is respected.
This is a great post from @votejkent. As someone who grew up in rural SW and worked for a rural Liberal MP (John Finlay (Oxford)) when I arrived on Parl. Hill it is nice to see someone understand what Liberals in Ontario need to do to engage voters and communities.
This line from Jordan especially resonated with me - "If Liberals are serious about rebuilding trust in rural Canada, it will require structural change, not rhetorical adjustment. It will require year-round organizing rather than election-driven engagement."
