Every day, it gets harder to process.

The world keeps living its life while Ukrainians are being killed on an industrial scale.

Our tweets, our pleas, our cries for the world to care — they seem to bounce off a wall.

Every day, the same horror.
Every day, more names. More funerals. More graves.

Tomorrow will not be better.

🇺🇸🤔U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on behalf of Donald Trump, expressed regret that the Saudi authorities signed defense agreements with Ukraine without consulting the United States, which had been Saudi Arabia’s main ally.
In response, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman noted that the U.S. had failed to fully protect the Kingdom from Iranian strikes, and therefore Saudi Arabia made a decision that could quickly strengthen its defense capabilities. The Crown Prince also stated that his country will continue to be guided by its own national interests when making decisions regarding its defense.
This was a slap in the face to Trump from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in response to Trump’s crude and scandalous public statement that “…now let the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia kiss my ass and be polite to me from now on.”
Thus, Trump’s reckless and irresponsible remarks have effectively put U.S.–Saudi relations on pause.
The Saudi Crown Prince proved to be more diplomatic than the American president and, notably, did not respond to Rubio by saying that Trump should “kiss my ass” and behave politely toward him in the future.

Last night, the largest country wholly within Europe – Ukraine – was attacked by russia and North Korea with hundreds of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and strike drones.

This is exactly the kind of Ukrainian operation that succeeds because almost no one talks about it until the job is done.

For months, a grouping of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces quietly carried out an operation while the information space remained remarkably silent. Commanders themselves pointed it out: almost no leaks, no premature announcements, no constant stream of posts giving away what was happening on the battlefield.

That silence made a difference.

Russian commanders apparently continued reporting to their superiors that everything was under control, even as the real situation on the ground was getting worse. It reportedly deteriorated to the point where battalion commanders themselves were being sent toward the front line.

At least two Russian battalion commanders were reportedly eliminated by Ukrainian paratroopers in the offensive sector.

The courage and professionalism of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces made this operation possible. But discipline and operational silence made it much harder for Russia to understand what was happening until it was already too late.

Just think about that: 600 drones over the capital of a country Putin once promised would become “safer” because of his war.

Огромное количество таких видео от селлеров Wildberries. Люди потеряли всё и теперь вынуждены закрывать бизнесы. Им кажется, что в их жизни произошла трагедия.

Трагедия, конечно, произошла, но совсем не моментально. Она случилась даже не в течение месяца, когда украинские дроны "обнуляли" логистику Wildberries.

Трагедия была ползучей и развивается уже давно.
1. Трагедия произошла, когда Путин в 2012 году вопреки Конституции избрался на третий срок.
2. Когда он наплевал на международное право и аннексировал Крым.
3. Когда устроил маленький криминальный анклав на месте сложной, но все-таки относительно благополучной Донецкой области Украины.
4. Когда в центре Москвы убили Бориса Немцова, а организатор убийства, связанный с Кадыровым, "не открыл дверь" следователям, приехавшим в Чечню.
5. Когда Путин "обнулялся" на пеньках, проигнорировав процедуру изменения Конституции, которая в ней прописана. И ради этого отменил карантин в разгар пандемии, спровоцировав избыточную смертность в 1 млн человек.
6. Когда ФСБшники травили "Новичком" Навального, Быкова и Кара-Мурзу.
7. Когда "Грады" начали сносить кварталы Харькова, бомбы ровняли Мариуполь, а баллистические ракеты и "Шахеды" годами по ночам терроризировали жителей Киева.
8. Когда в тюрьме убили Навального.
9. Когда убийц и насильников отправляли на фронт, а выживших отпускали на свободу.

Таких сигналов за 27 лет правления Путина наберется даже не десятки, в сотни. Но большинство жителей России предпочитало их игнорировать. Тех, кто пытался привлечь внимание к этим трагедиям, считали истеричками, ненормальными и "демшизой".

Все это время, пока происходила ползучая трагедия (просто с другими людьми), селлеры с Wildberries сидели в уютных московских кафе и верстали презентации своих брендов, как будто они живут в благополучной, демократической европейской стране начала нулевых, а не в свихнувшейся диктатуре.

Судьба буквально всех человеческих сообществ во все исторические периоды показывает — если пустить все на самотек, трагедия в итоге затронет лично тебя. Во всем множестве мультивселенных нет такой, где граждане не сопротивляются диктатору, слепо доверяют ему, дают насиловать закон, и в итоге не получают кровь, войну, хаос и нищету. Потому что зло и насилие не контейнируемо. Если не пытаться предотвращать насилие над другими и воспринимать отъехавшую власть, как "стихийное бедствие", трагедия придет лично к тебе.

По-человечески жаль этих людей, потому что Wildberries и потеря бизнеса — это промежуточная станция. Дальше будут блэкауты, проблемы с продовольствием, военная экономика, концлагеря, и даже, возможно, гражданская война.

Кто-то скажет, что это слишком мрачный прогноз. Ок. Представьте, что кто-то в 2019 году сказал бы вам, что в 2026 году в Москве люди будут стоять в двухчасовых пробках за бензином, потому что дроны уничтожили 40% мощностей НПЗ? И что БПЛА будут раз в несколько дней полностью сжигать складской терминал площадью с ТРЦ "Мега"? Вы бы поверили?

Если продолжить линию тренда, то сценарий с военной экономикой и концлагерями не кажется нереальным.
