MonHun character designs often have their "vibe" changed drastically when going from 2D to 3D and fwiw I do often prefer the former
Sometimes you also get funny cases like Erik getting a +300% size increase to his lips when going from paper to engine lmao
Fun fact : in older games, during the "star roar" animation, Shagaru's wing truly became bigger (only during this animation, otherwise the size is relatively the same as Sunbreak)
