Our #AltnagelvinED is operating on an emergency only basis today as we are experiencing a number of staff shortages due to COVID-19
We are urging the public not to attend our Emergency Department at this time unless you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency.
Altnagelvin Hospital's Emergency Dept (ED) is under extreme pressure today. We now have 74 people in ED and 30 people waiting to be admitted to the hospital. Dr Paul Baylis, Consultant at the Emergency Department has some important messages for the public at this time.
