HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Secretary of War Pete Hegseth turns 46 today.
From serving in Iraq and Afghanistan to leading the Pentagon, Hegseth has spent decades advocating for America's warfighters and national defense.
EXCLUSIVE: A web of oil interests, a fallen congressmember, a special envoy and a fleet of social-media influencers tried to pull the Trump administration toward a more accommodating posture on Venezuela. It almost worked.

The Murillo-Ortega dictatorship is an enemy of humanity. The Trump Administration will not ignore their crimes and brutality, including the dictatorship’s singular role in the death of political opposition leader Brooklyn Rivera. Today, @StateDept took steps to impose visa restrictions on over 100 Nicaraguan officials who continue to carry out Murillo and Ortega’s malign agenda.

“Both sides, Israel and Iran, are looking to do an immediate CEASEFIRE! Final negotiations on “Peace” are proceeding, subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in its way…” - President DONALD J. TRUMP
Eighty-two years ago today, freedom stood on the edge of extinction, and Allied forces stormed into hell to help save the world.
We will never forget the courage, the sacrifice, and the blood spilled on that fateful day.
Saludos
.@SecRubio: American foreign policy must be pragmatic and principled. Our dollars must serve Americans first, not social experiments and pet projects abroad. When it comes to foreign relations, there is only one priority: the national interest of the United States.
Jonathan David Muir Burgos spent his 17th birthday in a Cuban prison.
He was detained by the Castro regime in early March because of his Christian faith and for participating in pro-democracy protests.
Since his detention, regime operatives have denied him medical care for a skin condition that requires ongoing treatment.
The world should be outraged that the regime continues to get away with this cruelty and blatant disregard for basic human rights and human dignity.
The Castro regime is corrupt, murderous, and evil. For nearly 70 years, it has oppressed the Cuban people and deprived them of their most fundamental freedoms.
I demand Jonathan’s immediate and unconditional release!
No minor should ever endure something like this.
Unfortunately, the Castro regime has fooled Medea and the activists of Code Pink. They have completely drunk the Kool-Aid.
What I want for Cubans is the same freedom Medea enjoys in Washington: the right to protest, criticize the government, and go home safely.
Try doing that in Havana. In Cuba, opposing the regime can land you in prison, or worse. Cubans deserve freedom and free elections.
Ideological conditioning and two-tiered policing are glaring symptoms of civilizational decline. They must be rejected across the West.
The United States sends our condolences to the family of Henry Nowak and the people of the United Kingdom at this troubling time.
.@SecRubio testified before Congress this week that the US is committed to protecting Colombia’s democracy. He has also explained on many occasions that a US visa is a privilege, not a right, and that visa denials and revocations are powerful tools for advancing our foreign policy. To safeguard the integrity of Colombia’s upcoming elections, we are closely monitoring the situation along the Caribbean coast and elsewhere. Those tempted to undermine or manipulate the democratic process—whether by BUYING VOTES or otherwise—are therefore on notice that they are putting their visas, and those of their families, at risk. ¡Por algo me llaman El Quitavisas! 🇺🇸🤝🇨🇴
The US sanctioned Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and members of his family, ratcheting up pressure on the communist government even further. https://t.co/vEjw6y3SXX
