Woke up dizzy at 6:30 AM Wednesday morning. Made it too the bathroom, stood in front of sink & thought, yep, I'm dizzy. Not my imagination. Took Meclazine went back to bed. Fell asleep & dizziness was over by 8:30. Felt really run down the rest of the day tho. #Menieres

Spent a lot of today light headed & not feeling good, but not dizzy, so that's something I guess. The ringing in my right ear is very loud. #Menieres

I've lived in lots of small towns. Many of them (this one included) have a Mayberry like veneer, but there is an undercurrent of people living on the edge. They do what they have to to get by. #smalltown

In further grocery shopping adventures, yesterday a young emaciated looking guy was walking around yelling gibberish into his phone. It was odd. The supermarket is like a sponge in this small town & the workers there must deal with a lot. #groceryshopping

Had some vertigo yesterday, bad enough but not near as bad as it could have been. Trying hard not to get light headed today. So far mind over matter hasn't worked, but maybe it will today. I'm light headed most days. #Menieres

What facilitated the discussion was that I noted our gross is up a certain percentage year over year, but our net is up half the amount (percentage wise) our gross is. I have no business training & I was wondering why they both weren't up the same percentage amount #businesscrap

My wife & I operate a miniscule eBay business (see @leopatti1910) so we spent a few minutes rehashing Gross vs Net income. Gross = Revenue - cost of goods sold. Net = Gross - business expenses. Gotta keep up with that stuff. #businesscrap

Went grocery shopping this morning. Whole time I was there an elderly man was limping up & down aisles, pushing a small cart, not buying anything. He was there when I got there & there when I left. I think he was trying to get in some A/C. It's hot out. #heatwave #oldman

@WaxeWod I once spent a few hrs in an emergency room. They ran some tests, did some scans, cost 7K out of pocket. That was several yrs ago. So - 20K.

I miss the language we used in everyday communication when I was in the Army. Words & acronyms like FOAD, NUG, Beat Feet, Bass-ackwards. They did not make the transition back to civilian life. #Army
