One of the most brazen lies of Big Tech is that people *like* commercial surveillance, a fact you can verify for yourself by simply observing how many people end up using products that spy on them. If they didn't like spying, they wouldn't opt into being spied on.

The Auntieverse
The artist @niceaunties has recently gained more attention, so we decided to recap what this awesome project is all about 🫶
↓
Niceaunties created a world from the collective subconscious of all 'aunties,' celebrating self-love, risk-taking, fun, and freedom through self-expression. Utilizing AI, the artist crafted a surreal world where every suppressed being could exist freely and without judgment. This world, which she calls the "Auntieverse," provides a unique perspective on endearing, absurd, and sometimes negative behaviors.
Launched at the beginning of the year, the Auntieverse is a collection of 1,000 artworks divided into 10 chapters. Each chapter tells different stories and scenarios within the Auntieverse:
Chapter 1, "Auntiecity," depicts everyday life in this auntie-run world, while "Spa Menu" (Chapter 2) delves into beauty and youth themes. In "Factory" (Chapter 3), aunties create giant sushi rolls for unique purposes. "Auntieque" (Chapter 4) focuses on the impact of hairdos through vintage portraits. "Auntiesocial" (Chapter 5) celebrates community and sisterhood, and "Fashion" (Chapter 6) turns everyday objects into runway fashion. "Tesla" (Chapter 7) features eco-friendly, edible vehicles, and "Ikea" (Chapter 8) showcases a planet of customized furniture. "MoMA" (Chapter 9) is an art gallery managed by aunties, and "Nasa" (Chapter 10) is a sushi academy for sharing knowledge and cooking skills.
The project of "Niceaunties" provides a unique perspective on endearing, absurd, and sometimes negative behaviors. It serves as a commentary on societal norms imposed on women and the efforts women make to conform to these expectations. This project is a gentle yet powerful rebellion against these constraints.
