@greateranglia Credit to the driver of the 1632 from London Liverpool Street for his communication over the past nearly two hours of being stuck outside Ingatestone. Really think you need to rethink your ‘rescue train’ procedures.
@greateranglia why were tfl / underground staff telling me that this wasn’t valid this evening? Anything I can do to stop the ticket machines giving me this annoying ticket which doesn’t work on tube ticket barriers?
Elizabeth line saying good service now, took ages to find the right bus stop and now wondering if it would be quicker to retrace steps back to Farringdon.
@TfL when I set off from Essex this morning, Elizabeth line was ‘good service’. Have had to get off at Farringdon and (hoping to) continue journey by bus as it was only going to stop at Paddington. Was that a temporary blip or can I expect that over the course of the strikes?
@essexhighways if there’s not confusion over open reference number 2958813 you’ve deemed that this does not need immediate repair. This is the crossing towards a primary school that has not had a lollipop man in months. It is now not possible to cross here with a buggy 1/2
… (I saw a few parents having to negotiate around into traffic today) and it is not clear to on-coming traffic in either direction on this very busy road that this is a pedestrian crossing point. It is missing a bollard and the surface that has moved is unsafe. 2/2
@greateranglia just handed to a member of GA staff a laptop left on the Colchester Town 16.32, platform 11. Train was empty when boarded, left on a fold down table in carriage third from the front (or from back as it was arriving into LS.) poss name ‘Jack Davey’ on login screen.

@FirstEssex I’m afraid I can’t make it out very clearly either, though would have thought that from the timing provided the particular bus on the route would have been possible.
@FirstEssex buses should not mount the pavement, no matter how bad the traffic. This is Victoria Road, steps from a primary school, just now 17.10. Please tell me that the driver will be spoken to.
